Myelinated nerve fibers are found in the peripheral nervous system and the central nervous system. In the peripheral nervous system, myelinated fibers are present in motor neurons and sensory neurons. In the central nervous system, myelinated fibers are found in the white matter of the brain and spinal cord. Unmyelinated nerve fibers are also found in both the peripheral and central nervous systems, particularly in autonomic and sensory neurons. **

Nerve fibers are unmyelinated up to the ganglion cells because myelination is a process that occurs in the central nervous system, specifically in the axons of neurons. Ganglion cells are located in the peripheral nervous system and do not have myelin sheaths around their axons. The lack of myelination in these nerve fibers allows for faster signal transmission in the peripheral nervous system, as myelin slows down the conduction of electrical impulses. Additionally, unmyelinated nerve fibers are better suited for transmitting sensory information from the peripheral nervous system to the central nervous system. **

In unmyelinated nerve fibers, action potentials are propagated through a process called continuous conduction. This means that the action potential travels along the entire length of the nerve fiber, without jumping between nodes of Ranvier as in myelinated fibers. Sodium ions enter the cell at one point, causing depolarization and triggering the opening of voltage-gated sodium channels in the adjacent region. This creates a domino effect, with the action potential propagating down the length of the nerve fiber. **

The Kitchen Aid Artisan mixer may squeak due to a few reasons. One common cause is that the gears inside the mixer may need to be lubricated. Another reason could be that the attachments are not properly secured, causing friction and noise. Additionally, if the mixer is being used at a high speed for an extended period of time, it may also start to squeak. Regular maintenance and proper usage can help prevent the squeaking noise. **
