The Ballon d'Or is an annual football award presented by France Football. It is considered one of the most prestigious individual awards in the sport and is given to the best male football player in the world. The award is based on the votes of international journalists, national team coaches and captains, and fans. The 2024 Ballon d'Or will recognize the best player of the year, taking into account their performances for both club and country. **

As an AI language model, I do not have personal opinions. The decision of whether Messi received the Ballon d'Or unfairly is subjective and can vary depending on individual perspectives. Some may argue that Messi deserved the award based on his exceptional performance and achievements during the year, while others may believe that other players were more deserving. Ultimately, the Ballon d'Or is determined by a voting process, and opinions on the fairness of the outcome may differ. **

Many football fans and analysts also find the Ballon d'Or unfair. They believe that the award is often biased towards players from more popular and successful teams, rather than being solely based on individual performance. Additionally, some argue that the voting process is not transparent and can be influenced by factors other than on-field performance. Overall, there is a widespread belief that the Ballon d'Or does not always accurately reflect the best player in the world. **

Pelé did not win the Ballon d'Or during his playing career because the award was only open to European players until 1995. Pelé spent the majority of his career playing in Brazil for Santos and later in the United States for the New York Cosmos, which meant he was not eligible for the Ballon d'Or. However, he did receive numerous other accolades and is widely regarded as one of the greatest footballers of all time. **

It is impossible to predict the winner of the Ballon d'Or in 2024 as it is dependent on the performance of players throughout the year. The award is typically given to the player who has had the most outstanding season, so it will depend on which player has the most impactful and successful year in 2024. It could be a well-established player or a rising star who makes a significant impact on the football world. **

Karim Benzema has had an outstanding season with Real Madrid, scoring crucial goals and leading his team to success in both domestic and international competitions. His performances have been consistently impressive and he has been a key player for his team. However, the Ballon d'Or is awarded to the best player in the world, and while Benzema has had a great season, there are other players who have also had exceptional performances and could be considered for the award. Ultimately, whether or not Benzema deserves the Ballon d'Or is subjective and depends on individual opinions and criteria for the award. **
